FDNY 2019, The Cat Edition (Concept Art)

This July 24th got a little hotter, as the The 2019 New York City Fire Department’s Calendar of Heroes was released. It stars 24 men and women — all of whom are firefighters, EMTs or paramedics.

Yes, this calendar sizzles; then suddenly, a thought occurred? What about our FDNY animal heroes? Don’t they also deserve a calendar?

Thanks to Photoshop magic; I created calendar covers for the beloved FDNY Cats.

Our first calendar cover features the lovely lady of EMS Station 57, Killer. The second set of covers feature the handsome, Carlow, from the Yorkville firehouse. He’s not afraid to get down & dirty when inspecting his stations rigs.

While these covers are concept art, we do encourage you check the official calendar, on sale for $15.95 at fdnyshop.com, features steamy photos of both men and women who brave extreme circumstances to keep us safe.

“All proceeds from the calendar go to the FDNY Foundation, which generously supports fire and life safety education across the city and training and equipment for all our members.”

– Sophia Kim, the FDNY’s deputy press secretary, (in a statement obtained by amNY.)
